Thanks — this was useful feedback. I added Night Shift, a no-timer mode focused on slower legal reasoning instead of speed. Same absurd law system, but the statute book accumulates over time. Would be curious if this feels closer to what you wanted.

You only need to play through the Daily Mode once — don’t worry, it doesn’t matter whether you get the decisions right or wrong. After the shift ends, Night Shift will be available in the mode selection. Hope you enjoy it!

oh awesome ty! i got through a shift, very funny. i got tripped up on one: it says x is illegal after 1:00 and it was 23:00 which i think is after 1:00? or does 23:00 count as before 1:00?

Thanks for playing — and good catch.

In Sovietistan time is handled on a same-night timeline: 23:00 is considered before 01:00, because the shift runs from evening into the next morning.

So if a rule says “after 01:00”, it should not apply at 23:00. That wording is confusing though, so I’ll adjust the phrasing in a future update to make night-time rules clearer.
