After opening it once, it no longer starts up properly. When I try to launch it, the window opens briefly but then closes again before I can do anything.

Hey! What operating system you’re on? And could you try starting it from the command line to see if there are any errors printed out? Running it with the --verbose flag may help show more information as well.
There might also be some logs in your user folder:
- Windows:

~/Library/Application Support/boscaceoil-blue/logs - Linux:
~/.local/share/boscaceoil-blue/logs
