I actually like what you're doing here a lot, the grappling mechanic is fun once you get the hang of it, and the graphics and shader effects are really cool. The difficulty is insane, but that appears to be intentional, so I think there's a subset of platformer masochists that would love this game. Also, I don't know if this is intentional but you can sort of 'double jump' off the wall if you double press z fast enough which gives you more propulsion. Just though I'd mention because I didn't see this in your instructions so I thought it might be a bug. Very good work!
