The tutorial is completely optional, so you can skip past that if it's giving you too much trouble. As for the others, the only other levels that are available are "Copperopolis" and "Dustbowlane". The former can be played at the very start by going right from where you spawn on the 1st island. The latter can be accessed further ahead once you collect at least 100 Z's in a single run of that first level.
Don't worry though, the tutorial's definitely getting a revamp in a later update. Almost everything about it needs a bit of a makeover.
