Oh man this really sucks, i will look into that, this should not happen for sure.

Yes, I saved via the settings tab, playing on Firefox 152.0.4 (newest version as of now).
The most weird stuff seems to be related to the casino. As I mentioned, the casino shop got reset, but I still had 6 slot machines at 1-13 as well as autoplay enabled, though those also reset down to 1 when I tried to buy more.
The booster pack got reset to 100 tokens again, but it seems I kept all the cards I'd gotten (I just hadn't unlocked the Trophy Vault in my last post).
I tried reloading the game again right now to see if anything similar would happen, but this time it looks like everything is ok. Maybe it was a one-off weidness or something?
I did run into a bug before I reloaded. I have the Get Arch Gold quest where I need to earn 138 Miner's Respect, and for some reason it stopped counting at 92 no matter how much I turned it. Reloading seems to have fixed that though.
Anyway, it's a fun game to have running in the background and checking in from time to time, so keep it up! Having trouble beating the Mountain though, even at level 40 with all adventurers (lvl 7, 7, 5, 5), maxed out Skill Tree, all spells maxed, all runes running (though most only at lvl 1-2) and some buffs from here and there like the Trophy Vault.

I just updated the game, where (hopefully) issues releating to saveing are gone.
I will check with your other things you stumbled upon and implement a fix for the quest asap with the next patch.
What´s your current dig depth? Some artifacts give great unique bonuses. Do you got titans unlocked yet? Defeating those also give
massive bonuses and let you progress further.

I found two more unrelated bugs:
The first is stopping me from scrolling in the "thumbs up" menu after an indefinite amount of time. (while not moving the mouse cursor)
The second one is visual: A "wavy flickering" in the spots in the screenshot.

For the first one it might be that your mouse is directly between the shop upgrades, the mousewheel is not working then and does not register. i need to add that to my to do list since this is also happening in other shops
the 2nd one is actually intentional, i put kind of a very soft retro filter over the game so there is a light bloom, those flickering spots and other things. if players do not want it i can remove or add an option to turn it off
Started up the game again now, and stuff is gone once again, even worse this time.
- Buff tab in Mage Tower is reset.
- Artifacts from Digging Site has disappear so I have to start digging from the top again (was at depth 90).
- All extra Slot Machines in the Casino are gone.
- Booster packs in the Casino has been reset.
- Casino Token Shop has been reset (all spent tokens are lost).
- Equipment log in Vault has been reset.
- Bestiary in Vault has been reset, along with all buffs.
Hopefully your latest fix will prevent this from happening again.
I changed the save system from v1 to v2 - no data could be restored but future savings should be robust now. Make sure you are playing on the latest build v0.1g.
I know this is frustating when something get´s reset. This is a really early build, so it might happen again (but i hope not)
With the help of players (here and on discord) i already could pinpoint and fix a lot of bugs. Thanks for taking your time, giving feedback and play the game!
Maybe the reset happend because you had 2 tabs of the game open? Or do you have an option on that automaticly deletes browser cookies after a while?
