Hey!
I love TFC, but when I get to the end of chapter 1, it won't let me progress to chapter 2. Is that normal, or do I need to unlock the chapter/change my actions in chapter 1?

Uhhh do you mean day 2? Because chapter 2 hasn't come out yet. Neko has only released day 1 and day 2. Day 3 is still in the works. Check out their Tumblr for more info. Also: this place is seemingly the only location for the actual game as of right now, so if you are playing tfc from another source that contradicts this source and the tumblr, you might be playing a pirated version. Covering all bases, not accusing you or mini-modding.
