Cru-chan is really warming up to the apprentice isn't he? The good news is, some things will be revealed soon that will explain why he has chosen this particular apprentice. I'm excited to share this with everyone! If John's family see themselves as pioneers, the first to go to the Neverplace, I think they believe it's a good opportunity for them...and the council get to find out something they never discovered before...so I think it's mutually beneficial... I just wish John wasn't caught up in the situation as a little boy.
I really enjoyed your view of Zhen being like a peacock feather, that's a great way to think of him! I think that if Zhen wasn't being nice for Adam's sake, he'd be a bit of a gremlin at work ;) I think maybe Emiliano isn't as clever as he thinks he is when it comes to Zhen's family and their dynamics...there's somethings that a wolf can never understand about the Zhenniao bloodline, I think. Enjoying danger is a family trait. As for his medical condition...all will be revealed. We all know that Zhen likes sexy dangerous people, so I believe his experience in the Neverplace is going to be very interesting. :)
I am glad that you have gentle feelings for Adam, I think he's someone who needs that kind of support, there's one apprentice out there who can maybe help Adam overcome the trials he faces.
