Very ambitious game. I see the vision and wher this game will eventually end up.

Couple issues I had with it.

1.The boss died in 1 hit, he broke into a million pieces and I won the level. That was... odd.

2. The UI is still very primitive. I very much liked the main menu being animated in 3d (though the very first screen game me a big audio jumpscare), but the in-game UI could use some more polish and design to make it better on the eyes.

3. I left myself get shot for about a minute by the enemies without losing any health, then at some point I started losing health. I don't know what caused it, but I'd suggest it being something high on the "worth looking into" list.

4. The dash shot me like 3 rooms worth of distance lmao. While it's very funny, it's also totally game breaking hahah

Overall, a cool start! Give it some more sounds, animations and tighten the controls and this could go far.

Thanks for giving it a bash.
1. Yeah I think when I improved the part system the boss needed an adjustment, but I'm going to get around to polishing that later.
2. The in game GUI's going to get a bit more spiced up soon it's almost becoming a priority, It's on the todo list when I go and start doing the generator or a bit before, there's a bunch of stuff that isn't displayed that needs to be displayed.
3. The parts have 'durability' they do flash gray for 'armor' but I don't think the visual cue is enough, I wanted to do something with a part list on the side and am still thinking on how I want to show this to the player, I was thinking a little 3D version of your ship just like in mech warrior.
I could solve this easily by creating a bottom GUI but that would shrink the playing field, but I also can't render to much information on screen because you don't want people to get shot unfairly, I'm going to try a bunch of things when I finish the content that's out of game the good thing about waiting though is that my to-do list gets sort of clumped together and more focused, the in game content is almost ready to be started, probably DD71 or DD72 is when I'll have a majority of it finished.
Binding of isaac only has hearts to deal with, not really complex systems, I have an idea for something around the cursor which I might implement soon.
4. Yeah it's over tuned, I'm going to dial it back but use the level up system to upgrade the dash distance as well as other things, the ability system is in now and it's super easy to tune and fix all of the abilities

I'm glad you can see some of the vision I'm going for, it just takes time to put all these features in, it's probably a bit ambitious but I don't care I'm still having fun working on it, there's a lot of content missing from the main game and if people like it now just wait for when I start adding actual content to the main game, thanks again for playing.
