writing some thoughts as i play as someone who has recently scrapped together a platformer controller

  • base movement acceleration feels good, the character's top speed is pretty damn slow 
  • it looks like there is a jump buffer, which is good, but it feels like if you tap space and let go before landing it will never register the "release" of the jump button and you will get a full height jump instead of a short hop.
  • personal preference, it would feel better if there was a minimum short hop jump height
  • i like the mantle and the way it feels
  • sometimes what looks like a screen transition is just a wall
  • i got a windows error sound almost every time i landed on the ground, whats up with that?

seems like a solid base, keep up the good work
