The greenery is nice.
Hard surfaces could use some tweaking (step size vs pillar size is a little bit odd and the texture could use a bit of variety). The human sprite looks alright.
Thanks for the suggestion! You're right—the ground texture didn't change. When I realized I’d need to paint separate textures for different shadow levels, I felt my workflow was flawed, so I decided to add plants to cover it up instead. I still have a lot to learn about the transition from 2D to 3D.
