I downloaded the arm64 file to my MacBook (M2 Processor).  I get the following message:  “MIDI Editor” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. ”  Any suggestions?

Ok, I tried it and got the same error.  Unfortunately I didn't pay Apple the developer fee, so gatekeeper tries to block the app.  Here's the fix:

Fortunately, it's very easy to tell macOS you trust the file. Here are the steps to clear it up:
### Step 1: Move it to your Applications folder
If you haven't already, drag the .app file out of your Downloads folder and move it directly into **Applications**. Some apps behave unpredictably or get blocked more rigidly if launched straight from the downloads stack.
### Step 2: The Right-Click Trick (First Line of Defense)
Before opening the terminal, try the built-in system bypass:
 1. Open your **Applications** folder in Finder.
 2. Hold down the **Control** key and click the app icon (or right-click it).
 3. Select **Open** from the context menu.
 4. A dialogue box will pop up, but this time it might give you an explicit option to click **Open** anyway.
If this still throws the "damaged" error, you'll need to strip the quarantine flag manually using Step 3.
### Step 3: Clear the Quarantine Flag via Terminal
If the OS refuses to budge, you can force it to clear the "potentially unsafe" tag using a simple Terminal command.
 1. Open the **Terminal** app (press Cmd + Space, type "Terminal", and hit Enter).
 2. Type the following command, making sure to add a **space** at the very end, but **do not hit Enter yet**:
   ```
   xattr -cr
   ```
 3. Open your **Applications** folder in Finder, find the troublesome app, and **drag and drop its icon directly into the Terminal window**. This will automatically paste the exact file path.
   * The final command should look something like this:
     xattr -cr /Applications/YourAppName.app
 4. Press **Enter**.
Terminal won't print a success message; it will just jump to a new blank line. Try launching the app normally now—it should open right up!

I've now updated the app for Macs to V1.0.1, so this problem should now be fixed

Thanks Gary.  I updated using the info from your previous message.  Would be helpful if you added a short help file for the app.  For example, it took me a while to figure out that it only transmitted data when the device was set to midi channel one.  Also, could not figure out how to save  any patches to the preset buttons.  Also, it would be great if a patch that was created could be name in the app, and saved as a sysex file.  Otherwise, the app works as advertised.

I've added a note in the download/install instructions to let other users know that the app uses MIDI channel 1 as default.  Maybe in the next update I'll add an option so you can select the channel you'd like to use.  Same goes for downloading the patch file.  (I think on most of the Behringer Mini/Micro synths  to save over the current patch you just press down on the select pot)
