Hi, saw your post on Reddit. I'm very interested in this game's scope and scale. Initial look at it, is fantastic. It reminds me a great deal of the old boardgames Panzer Blitz and Panzer Leader. It has so much potential! I'm willing to playtest and could give you about 10-15 hours per week. I tried the demo and have some specific feedback:

1. It's confusing to get out of Move mode, and when other units are nearby it's very easy to assume movement is over and click another unit, but then your first unit moves on top of it. So I suggest after a move action, reset the mouse mode to Select mode by default. Update - Actually after my 3rd playthrough I've got the hang of it. You do have to be careful though.

2. Sound effect on vehicle and artillery fire should be multiple of the sound, just like the infantry is, to simulate an entire platoon.

I don't want to waste your time with more suggestions because as you mentioned on Reddit you have a lot already in your roadmap.

  1. Using the right mouse button for movement is actually something I'm considering, so that may solve the issue.
  2. I completely agree about the vehicle and artillery sounds. I'm adding that to my notes right now.

And thanks for offering to playtest! I really appreciate it. At the moment I'm trying to work through the current roadmap and implement a lot of planned features first. Once the game is a bit further along, I'd be happy to get more feedback from experienced players like you.
