This show's art style was a massive influence for me. I used to think that mixing western and eastern styles wasn't possible until I did some more background-digging on people like Shotaro Ishinomori. I feel like I should confess that when I first watched the 2003 Cyborg 009 on Toonami, I thought it looked too silly. I'm thankful I was proven wrong. =)
