For those struggling with suicide, what helped me is this advice: You can always do it tomorrow. Is it possible to just wait for tomorrow? Every day, not matter how it goes, just wait for tomorrow. It's helped me get through some of the worst days in my life, and when I was on the edge of doing it, this helped bring me back, even if just so I could do it tomorrow. And every time, I had completely steeled myself to definitely do it tomorrow. Thankfully that tomorrow has not happened yet. Perhaps that outlook will help you postpone it to the tomorrow.
