Thank you very much !!!!
I'm glad to hear that you feel it's your fault when you die, this is what we find in the best games to my opinion !!!!
I totally agree with you that the game becomes really quickly difficult ! We have noticed it and decided to keep it like this. The reason why is because it's my feeling of a retro arcade game, I explain myself, arcade games were really really difficult, not this quickly of course but it was a way to retain people to pay more to play it, it had to be fun, to feel fair giving you the feeling that it's your fault when you die and that you can do better, needed to have this good balancing between difficulty and fun. After playing my game I realised that you can find multiple ways to improve and to progress, but the game is insanely difficult. The fact is that the last time I felt was I just felt on my game was on an arcade game ! This exact feeling of wanting to play again to progress and that I can do it if I understand the game and if I get good at it, so we ended up deciding to let it as it, because we think it fit the retro theme for these reasons, it remembered me retro playing while playing, I didn't felt that for years ! And the game felt also more deep than I though, you can try different strategies ! Also since the game lasts only for 2 mins I was thinking the difficulty is finally ok to represents arcade retro gaming.
Otherwise for me it's ok to be able to spam bullets !! The game is balanced for this purpose, you basically spam bullets in bullet hells, especially Touhou which I was inspired of, plus firing also slows you down to be more precise avoiding obstacles, but by going slow you will not reach a lot of enemies to reduce de amount of bullet on the screen, you have to be skilled and have a good strategy to win !!
Thank you very much again for your comment ! I still agree it maybe starts a little bit too hard, be I think it's finally ok for my previous point !
