Yes. I believe it written in tutorials but there is no hint while talking to NPC.

Is this still a problem in newer version?
Doesn't look like the LV6 error happens anymore, though there does seem to be a big level escalation as the days go on like some others said.
I also found another error: Ruby doesn't keep the suit on after you save and load back in--but Beryl still has the shop open so it's not the worst. (Also how do you clean up the gym, if you can?)
