I agree the puzzles could've been more challenging. With the limited engine and game jam deadline, I did the best I could with the time I had.
For the theme, I based it on my own association with summer—a refreshing cold drink on a hot day
The palm leaves were intentional. I liked the idea of them forcing you to plan ahead, since they can obscure your character and make you rethink your path. I understand that won't be everyone's cup of tea though.
And I definitely agree that the game could've benefited from some music. Thanks again for playing!
