Hi,
Characters & Monsters sprites are arranged on spritesheets, where the frame size is either 32x32px (Character) or 48x48px (Monster).
Of course, each actual sprite is smaller than the frame size. For example, the Djinn is 34px tall and the Skeleton is 19px tall. Characters are usually ~20px tall.
