HIIII, Im not too sure if we had the same problem, but I encountered something similar in the past, I think? I think the problem is that you're playing it on a temporary file. Im not too sure about your layout, but whenever I download a game from itch.io, it opens as a "zip" file on WinRAR (playing from here would be playing on a temporary file, I believe). I think you have to right-click the folder of the game (Zeno Remake) and choose to "Extract Files" so that you can play it from your actual pc files as a folder rather than a zip file (this way, it'll save). SORYRYRY, IM NOT TOO SURE AND I BARELY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PCS OR WINDOWS OR MACS, I ONLY USE A COMPUTER TO PLAY RPGMAKERS SO IM NOT TOO SURE HOW IT WORKS. But I hope this helps?
