nicely written, but as someone else said 9 year old dont speak or act like that. Also im pretty frustrated with how every choice I make to try and distance myself, or like any "negative" choice the story just, refuses and pushes the story along as I act friendly with everyone. Which is weird considering these people either aided, or where happy my family was killed..

okay so saying a story is fictional is not a good defense against bad writing fyi. also if the characters being badly written is taking away from the story, it kinda is actually a issue, and one multiple people have had
its fine if you like it, and its okay to critique things you like, in fact its better you do
This, friend, is a fallacy called "whataboutism". Other things being bad don't negate this thing being bad and the two have nothing to do with each other. "It's okay that this is bad if other things are also bad" is a wild take.
Also, plenty of people can write a nine-year-old. It generally has to do with previous contact or basic research. Hope that helps :)
