I come back again after a long time. I know it ended long ago and you already made a new game, but finally I have time to finish it.

Spoiler(don't read this! if you didn't, go play the game first damnit!):

Good game. Let's be real here, I kinda feel a little disappointed by the ending. There were so many things going on, yet it didn't answer most questions. When it ended, I didn't even know it was the ending.

I know it's game design too, that you're kinda limited in everything you do, but still there are too many things that didn't click. Or can I say it felt rushed toward the end.

With everything building up since Chapter 1, the characters and the main storyline, everything is finished, but it still doesn't feel like it matches up with what you were building up.

Example:

Characters:

There were some female characters that looked like they were gonna be in the story, maybe not main characters but side ones, yet that didn't happen.

Zero, that guy looked cool and all, and I hoped he would be some kind of big boss fight in the good ending route, and yeah, literally nothing happened.

Storyline:

The organization was built up so much, literally said to be the most powerful and probably have its own army, yet it didn't really appear in the final part, and the raid in the good route was literally just a tank going at the main gate.

Yeah, no secret entrance or two-steps-ahead strategy, just straight up kicking the door in. I kinda wish it was some kind of Avengers: Endgame moment.

But what made me say "What!?" the most was the ending after the credits. It just popped back to the main title screen, which surprised me because I highly expected it to have an after-story where you could freely explore, which this type of game normally has.

Overall, you did a very great job with Chapter 1.

A good game. I also like the characters, most of them are written well. Some I wish we could explore more, like the police woman, Roxy, and the teacher, who not only appeared a lot, but were involved in the main storyline too.

S.Scene is good too, wish it unlock all options and don't have to load save to collect it, yet nothing can be done now it final product.

So I wish you luck on your next game. If I get the chance, I might try it.

I leave this here not out of hate or anything. You can take it with a grain of salt, whether you like it or not. I leave this here so you can have something as a reference.

Overall, thanks for the great game again.

Perhaps the other endings are more interesting to you.

Either way, I get what you're saying. But at the end of the day, we're just two guys with no budget who spent years of our lives making a game out of passion and for the fun of it, even though the game couldn't be sold.

What you're suggesting was the original plan and would have been awesome, but it also would have meant another two years of development, it just wasn't an option. For more details, feel free to check this post out: https://jamleng.itch.io/lewd-town-adventures/devlog/796407/the-final-update-post...

I feel like the organization just gave up in the end and said "This place is just a small part of our global business and not worth the hassle" and maybe they hope they can gain the heir back on their side in the future.
