Hello! I'm Luis, and me and a few others are making our first project together; a visual novel called ShadowCircuit: Ioda. It takes place in a not so distance future, in a world where the relationship between humans and AI are symbiotic. This is a game I've been thinking of making for years now and I'm excited that we've got progress going on it. I'd like to update this dev log and bring you guys along with us as we continue to flesh this out. Totally new to doing this, so for now, I'd like to share our original concept art for our scenes and characters. ShadowCircuit is a story about grief, resistance, moral struggles. The story will take players through the life of Ioda, a test mind; someone with AI integrated into their heads to help with day to day life. After an event causes global panic and death, she will go on a tourney of trauma, healing and corporate espionage to uncover the truth of those events. Uncovering conspiracies, developing unlikely relationships, and learning how to grieve and heal.
