Scenarios:
Lies
You feel awkward talking to someone about things that are bothering you. You start stating things like “I’m being ridiculous” “I’m just over emotional” “I was so stupid to have allowed this” and other expressions that demean yourself to soften the confrontation.
You went to the store and saw that all the clothing that was available was much smaller than you could wear. You start to feel that you are fat. To the point that you start to feel depressed and stress eat more adding to weight gain.
The kids at school keep laughing at you and saying your hair looks stupid and ugly. You thought it looked cute but as the days go on you start to wonder are you really ugly?
Greed
You got a job offer and accepted it. Then you got a more lucrative offer afterward. Do quit the first job to take the more lucrative one.
You see a small item in a store that is left unattended. You think about taking it.
You go to wash clothing at the community laundromat. The laundry in the dryer is done. There is a cool looking shirt in there. No one is there for that lode. It's been in there for hours… Do you take it?
You are putting stuff in your car after shopping. As you unload you find an item you didn’t pay for. What do you do?
Pride
You are watching over a dog that your relative dumped on you for a weekend without asking. You feed it but don’t really pay attention to it. The dog gets out and severely hurts the neighbor's little dog. It's not your dog, so not your problem.
You want to get to your things and get a move on. There is another slow person in front of your things. You shove through and bump them out of the way. The slow person is angry with you and yelling for an explanation. How do you react?
Hate
Your best friend shared things you told them in confidence to others that used that information to make fun of you. What’s your reaction?
Your parents didn’t believe you over the school. You were right, the call about your grades was made in error stating you were failing. But your parents believed the school anyways. What is your reaction?
You tried to help a friend out and fronted money for them. They promised to pay you back. You agreed. They haven’t paid you back any money yet months later and are asking to borrow more and more. What is your reaction?
You needed your friend’s help. They were too busy. Then they are telling you about their fun time, while you had a rough time, they weren’t even there to help with. What do you do?
Idols
You look to a romantic relationship to fully be your rock, and comfort. As they cannot meet the demands we need from God eventually you start to feel disillusioned and resentful toward that partner.
You prioritize work over family, your health and your spiritual walk - prayer, reading bible, and going to church. You lose your job and have lost your income. What do you rely on now?
You start to get a following on social media. You start to constantly think about what new posts you can make and what will your followers think of you saying/ doing different things.
