Is it possible to add NPC's on the side of the players?

Hey there! I know its a player vs NPC combat system, but is it possible to have it set up so the player can have allied NPC's with the choice to toggle them on or off for if they're AI controlled or Player Commanded per sitrep or during triggered events, along with having a toggleable feature for NPC supports that have an ingress zone? Or what about switching control to a different Mech midway through the battle if yours is destroyed A la "Field of Swords" style that you can customize and drop into the battlefield? I'd like to be able to make prolonged, large scale fights this way for grand climax fights, if possible.

Shluld mention, this is in response to the campaign/sitrep builder

i should mention: i havent used the softaware yet as i haven't had the time to dedicate to using it, however, i'm planning on making a non-linear campaign with the software for fun when i finally get a day/8 hour window off lmao

In the current build, you can set units to be between PC-controlled / AI hostile / AI friendly. In the upcoming update in the next week or two we’ve added a trigger-able event to switch factions dynamically. So, yes :)
