I was curious to try this game out, but after the starting cutscene and talking to the girl, it just puts me in a black area with a red light and nothing else.
The dark room is the in-between realm. If it appears too dark, your monitor’s gamma settings may be too low. You need to find the doorway the red glow leads directly to it. Once you reach it, a portal will open.
I don't think it's gamma as turning mine up doesn't change anything. It's literally black with a light, I'm seemingly unable to get any closer to said light, only able to move my view around.
Yeah, same here (Windows 11). It loads, the music is there and a dim reddish fade in the center of view, but apart from moving the camera with my mouse nothing change
