might be mac's privacy protection system changing a few things in settings could help
hey i basically did the same things u did and it didnt work :( so i ended up downloading crossover to play it, its a windows emulator for mac! theres a trial for 14 days, and once it's over i just use a prefs editor downloaded from the web to change the dates so i can continue using it for free. i hope this helps
