I know I'm super late here, but. I've noticed OBS will stop capturing a window if you minimize it. Generally, what I do instead, if I don't want a window in my way but *do* want to capture it, is move it over another window I'm going to be more active in and then click into that other window, hiding the one I'm capturing without minimizing it. Hope this information can help somebody
