Yes! I love CAIN, I cannot wait to hoard every issue and then never play it cause I'm too scared to run my very first ttrpg oneshot ever.
There would be no harm in trying to run it with a open minded group ! A one shot also allows you to go wild and disregard the continuity of a campaign
