You need to loop at least once (Lilith resets the escape)
Then during the subsequent loops there will be dialogue at a certain point that signals you need to do something different (at that exact moment) to what you have been doing i.e. leave the box.
The dialogue is pretty clear to the point where if you are missing it you are not reading. (I will give you a hint it happens when something really suspect happens)
Then think outside the box is literal in this case. The box is a trap and will make you lose your chance.
