There's something that keeps happening to me and I can't pin down what's triggering it. When returning to the game and having a long list of events to respond to (both including or not including the Navy impressment event), I will end up with my crew having been pressed into service and my speed cut by 20%. It doesn't matter how many events I "win" or "lose" in that long list, or even if the Navy event is in there at all. And it happens almost every time...:(
I do love this game as a background tab. This just makes me a little sad...
