updated latest version of game and i lost everything how do i save the game?
Versions 3.0a-b had a critical save state issue that happened a lot for newer players. Basically, the game failed to write/load new data because of a problem during the initial setup phase. Progress made in those two versions probably didn't get saved for the most part, but older progress should carry over fine to 3.0b (pre-3.0).
I've fixed this in the latest update and added more fallback auto-saves when you leave the game. To be completely sure, just make sure to use the "Exit" button in the main menu when quitting.
I assume you made progress in the newer versions (after 3.0a) and when you opened the game again, progress was cleared. If you updated and there is still no progress loaded, sadly that's it. You will have to play it again.
Sorry for that, but from this version forward, it should write data fine. If you are still having issues, try going into Settings > General > Erase my data to clear any remaining cache from the broken version.
