Also not sure if it was because of the performance drug, but the edging minigame is a total nightmare to complete. took me about 30-40 minutes to get all 10 rounds.
The edging is not supposed to be easy to complete, at least not at the beginning. The more energy you have the easier the mini game is (one of the reasons to increase max energy). In future there will be side stories/quests that will reward with improved control which will make the mini game easier but that is in far future.
