Thank you! Theoretically it should work without clicking directly on the enemy, but there’s been a slight fuzzing of directions because I wanted the beam to start further up from the actual position of the player (which is at the sprite’s feet), but making that purely visual would have the beam pass away from the cursor which looked wrong, so at the end I changed the direction which makes it a bit unpredictable. I should revisit that whole shooting logic again now that the deadline is not pressing any more.
