Just use the wiki.  The unfortunate thing is that the early cooking recipes aren't that good.  And as for crafting...  Most of them require lots of RNG materials from the orcas/papercrafts/Phanelyn enemies.  And also aren't that good.  The only really useful one is the Beginner Spellbook+ for grinding out new or respecced PCs in the alleyway to like lv 30 or so.
Beginner spellbook+ is made by putting a base spellbook (rare drop from the Papercraft Servants) in the center of the crafting table and 2 spellpapers in all the surrounding slots.

Honestly due to Luna Nightshade's difficulty, the game is in a weird spot atm due to essentially how BAD all the gear right now is.  Since everything in Phanelyn is currently a joke right now after the difficulty spike that was Luna.  At current the best strategy is to grind up either your Fox or Shark on the BE path SOLO to the high lv 60s or low 70s before taking on Luna, by that point you should have at least one Spiked Mace and never unequip it (until you replace it with a Warhammer in Phanelyn) since atm NO other weapon scales as well as it since HP is by far the best scaling stat.  (both are Atk boost of 5% of max hp weapons).

The grind starts off slow but each lv makes you far stronger than the last.  You should stick to the alley until like lv45-50 then swap to the beach.  Avoid high lv sentinels until you can three shot them between attack + special (bursting burst) + attack.  Eventually move to the tower, especially if you don't have a Spiked mace yet, use a bronze mace until you do.  Then in the early to mid 60s move to fight the nightshade clan.  My shark was lv72 when she beat Luna.

Also here's a link to the wiki.
