So idk if it's a bug or if I'm just stupid but i can't find a thing to eat in the apartment, i looked at people doing it and there was a cup of noodles somewhere but in my game there's absolutely nothing.
Should be inside the microwave

It might be on the top shelf, near the refrigerator.
