If you're talking about not being able to communicate with her in any way after taking over as boss, and she's in stage 4, then there's a 21-day countdown, after which she'll call and invite.
I just checked the game code, and the only thing that could be causing this is: You've reached Alice's stage 5, but Lisa's stage is < 3, and their event hasn't happened yet
