imagine how much MORE there would be to redo later on, I assume you lack the understanding to know this, but this art needs to be drawn, not only does it take time to draw anything normally, but this would mean that Kalnareff would need to draw, let's say there are three states of 'buff' 1 is default 2 is semi 3 is buff, this would mean that there would need to be two additional variations of every scene that Melo is in.
That might not sound too bad until you realize that there is also the option to give Melo boobs which already doubles the amount of images needed for Melo in scenes, beyond that it seems that it might be planned at a later date to also increase other assets of Melo. This isn't Kalnareff saying no due to a lack of experience and I have no idea where that even came from. This isn't an issue with difficulty it is a issue of workload.
