How do you do to get into the cave in the tavern's cave? I don't know how to make a torch or even planks...

so you need to make a workshop which requires you to buy some planks from logan the lumberjack. Once you have axe your able to chop wood at your house an with the workshop your able to turn that wood into logs on your own.
you can make a torch but takes up a weapon slot but down the road you can get a amulet from 2 differnt npcs but only have either ones not both. both provide certain stats
