Wow! This was a super cool game. It is very atmospheric and lively, presenting its locations and activities with charm and attention to detail. There are many small touches that (in addition to displaying the dedication of the developers) help vivify the setting that much more. The dialogue feels naturalistic and skillfully conveys the personality of the characters while also indicating Sang's solitude. There's this sense of monotony, only broken up by relatively shallow conversation that perfectly captures the absence of meaningful connections.

In my opinion, the English translation was very good for a game of this size. Nothing significantly impeded my understanding or felt particularly awkward which is impressive considering some larger projects are far less successful. I am sure that as with most translated works it is preferrable to play in the original language, but I did not feel as though I missed out on anything.

The checkout minigame was quite entertaining; it managed to be both challenging while introducing a recess from the horror through levity. Similarly, the sliding puzzle was very clever. I must admit that I found the tile with the party and the tile with the boyfriend throwing a tantrum a little more difficult to interpret than the others, but I was able to figure them out through process of elimination. The homework about Tết was a satisfying way to learn some facts about Vietnamese Lunar New Year.

I've only done one ending so far, so I'm excited to try getting some of the others next.

I want to thank the developers for the release of the English translation that allowed me to enjoy this game, and I hope to see more from them in the future.
