Really fun really neat! Though, I'd like to second eggwhites's confusion over how the spirit blocks work - if it was explained a bit more thoroughly, like how you've explained the decision-making steps for deciding how the prioritization works between equal distances, I'd probably be able to get my head around it without recording myself play a bunch of games to study after the fact. As it is, there's times I feel certain a spectral energy should be able to 'hit' something in a row or column when it actually stays a dud. I think it's the fact that they're not really supposed to 'cross' different types of spectral energy, that seems like a common thread in it?

AI difficulty also seems to scale up *really* fast, even if I set it to minimum settings, within a couple games it's already unmanageable. Makes it hard to accommodate other skill levels, despite having the sliders. If CPUs stayed at the selected skill/speed longer, or there was a 'practice mode' where you just combo til you die without an opponent, that'd be great!

Game locked me in for a while, I'm up at 2am </3 (not all of that was this game, but it kept me up trying to press on my runs... I've beaten *3* rounds in arcade, before my opponent gets too fast for me to keep up with. Junk block launches are harsh, a CPU that can send 4/5/6 whatever it is layers at me at once, when I'm still 3 layers deep from the junk launched 2 CPU blocks ago, pretty much ends the game before I can salvage it... they're *really* good at setting up huge combos)
