Got it! I didn't realize the phone version would differ so much compared to the tablet version.
I've uploaded a new another android build to this page- the phone version should look exactly like the tablet version and the bugs you showed me should be gone.
The text might be a bit hard to read since I didn't adjust for it- I'll make sure to do that in future builds.

Gah- So sorry you have to deal with all this. I don't have an android phone to test on so I've been using the emulator but it seems like it doesn't catch everything.
I've re-uploaded the android version hopefully fixed and cleaned up. Please let me know if it gives you anymore issues.
