I actually considered using Discord some time ago, and someone was helping me set up and manage a server. However, the age verification requirements that started appearing in some regions made the situation more complicated, so the idea was put on hold at the time.
In addition, I am not very experienced with Discord server management, and I would need to make sure the server is properly secured and configured to avoid issues with bots, moderation, and access to adult content.
That said, if I continue having problems with distribution and cannot find another suitable solution, setting up and properly securing a Discord server may become the most viable option in the future.
For now, I am still exploring alternatives while waiting for a response from Itch.io.
