I've dabbled in 3D in this "2D" engine since gamemaker 8, doom style baby! Many Many personal projects and friend and family play "games" later I've realized I've build an arsenal of forbidden skills and knowledge. So I've going to bring them all together slowly and release an GML engine that will allow you to simply replace these placeholders with your own 3d model animations and texture easily, and most if not every object is built for simple user configuration,  ramps, stairs, moving, platforms ECT there's much more to show. Alongside of having game maker always open, it was hammer mapping tool for half-life 2. Heavily inspired by hammers entity systems and logic, I've gone as far to even code a 3d game maker map editor i can modify models via the .yy room format outside of game maker itself. In any event I'm slowly releasing the progress as I put it all together. Here's a videos of just some of the movement I started. I decided to go 3rd person view instead of FPS this time to show more player animations instead of NPCS.

Very nice. We have also maid our own game engine.
Very intressing stuff.

Thanks I just updated with Bump Map and Specular textures on objects this morning as well as bumpy terrain, and now I've got most of the day night cycle complete. I'd totally be interested in seeing your game maker engine in action any videos?

Got bump map  normal and specular maps working and got terrain system. the terrain block object will auto sew to other blocks it touches. soon particles and more lighting effects.

Very intressing stuff you got.

You can test Our Misuverse game engine on our website www.misuverse.com

Our project's goal is to build a Fortnite-style UGC (user-generated content) system, but easier.

In MisuVerse, users can:

  • play multiplayer games
  • create multiplayer games without coding
  • supports deathmatch, rally, parkour etc gamemodes
  • Misuverse engine runs directly in the web browser, etc
  • User doesent need to download anything - We are trying to make this easy as possible

i ran around the deathmatch world a bit i love what i saw. once a month we host local lan partys might try to get a few on.

We also got Fp and Tp camera modes, but first we are going to make fp camera work perfectly.

There is so much more work on Tp camera ;)

Now I've got a bit more water physics and particles. oooh ive got some particles coming. Hopefully "is that gamemaker"? particles?
