this is not to say that the character interaction was poorly written. i'm just enflamed about the abuse of Bree. Plus the whole "i'm the law and blackmailing you is okay" presentation. If I was the MC, I'd go tell Hazel what's up, then get Daisy and Bart introduced to Bree before taking the "abuse under color of law", false imprisonment, trespassing, and blackmail charges against Mabel brought up in front of the council. If there's such a small window to claim residency, as well as claim property (his home), and register a non-anthro? Shouldn't there be an official welcoming committee or something?
