Yep, experiencing the very same thing!
I think this might even be related to how Patreon handles currencies (or possibly how Itch reads them), as my Patreon pledge actually shows as raw 5€ (before taxes, mind you). With current exchange rate this should show up as 5.81$, not 7.49€. Even if I factor in VAT, I’d be looking at 5.59€ and 6.92$.
