As for the art, it's a mix of different techniques and a lot of iteration. I have formal training in both Graphic Design and Game Development, so I've spent years studying composition, color theory, visual identity, typography, and how different elements work together to create a cohesive experience.
I'm not a trained illustrator, though. My contribution was much more focused on defining the artistic direction, selecting references, refining ideas, and making sure everything supported the atmosphere and feeling I wanted the game to have.
Creating a cozy and memorable visual identity was one of my main goals, so I'm really happy that people connected with it.
