I really love the idea and the aesthetic. Poulpy was so cute! I like how consistent and cohesive all the visuals are, the buttons, the dialogue boxes, the health/ink HUD, it's all very stylish. It is also a very clever take on the theme.

I think closing the shapes needs to be a little more forgiving somehow, like allowing the lines to overlap maybe? It was hard to make the final line of my shape end exactly where I started. Maybe increasing the size of the splats at the start/ends of lines could help too? 

With that being said, the more I played the more I improved. I got the hang of it enough to defeat all the enemies and graduate, and I ultimately did enjoy my time with it. Great job!  :)

Thanks for your feedback! The core mechanics could indeed use a bit of tweaking. I want to refine them to make it more enjoyable, and I'm considering a few ideas like allowing to close shapes by crossing strokes , increase the error margin and make it possible to move while inking (I still need to think what's the best way to do that).

Wow, congrats on finishing the game! With the current controls, I don't think many people have managed to do that xD
