Thanks for your feedback. I am planning this to be room based and not level based. It would end up on player to choose which direction they would wanna go in. The theme connection is in the story shared on the itch page. Unfortunately I didn't had enough time to build it within the game. The smaller slimes are part of the larger slime scattered across the universe that it can use.
