I noticed there's a pseudo-range-edit functionality in the echo view accessed by pressing A (similar to column select in Data View) and was thinking that could be nice to have in other screens like modulators and transpose, column-wise in the latter but rows in the former. Then I was thinking that it could be nice just to have a proper range edit one way or the other (column or row, maybe depending on which direction X/Y is first selected from initial single space select state) in some of these screens in order, for instance, to apply deeper parameter randomization.

All of this gave me an even wilder idea: Range-Edit-like functionality in Data View, maybe even fully X/Y ranging (planar) could be used for more advanced cueing and sequencing of patterns. As in: cueing up multiple patterns in the same channel to sequence between one another, either just cycling between the left-most neighboring populated patterns or else including empty patterns in their default state (executing four times per default transpose settings); cueing the left-most patterns of channels within the selected range, which obviously must be adjacent channels.
