Few Tips for 0.9 I've discovered

- Turn off all components except for utilities at the computer when installing the upgrades or else it'll explode, use a wrench when removing the bolted in plates.

- When using cement use it until the bucket is empty or else it'll dry up, water will NOT fix it.

- Write down the satellite names on a paper sheet in case you forget which one you're collecting data from.

- You don't need to clean all of the bathroom components to get the achievement just one of each.

- Be more focused on adding coolers on the miner before going crazy on the GPUs, it'll explode and you'll lose the upgrades.

- The buttons on the coordinates panel can be used, the ones on the left lock onto each selected dot while the ones on the right call for them.

- You can store stuff in the crafting table now

- If you can't pick up your ATV to move it DO NOT DRIVE IT! Just repeatedly try grabbing it or pull it with the hook until it finally moves, if you don't you'll fly up in the sky at a random area of the map or just get tossed in general.

- Cubicle frames can be separated by repeatedly hitting it. Sadly I have no idea so far how to connect back together or how to locked them in place on the ground.

- The sauce can burn stuff

- When you collect the money stack from [REDACTED] you can separate them on the crafting table and put them into the atm to get the points.

- Use gravity when driving down hill or normal levelled ground when driving the ATV to save on battery and fuel.

- The coffee machine uses points instead of money.

- You can add the soap bar to the water bucket to add a cleaning buff and I personally prefer using the mop as it last longer when cleaning in general.

- Fixing servers still gives you points and bonus points if you beat the recorded time.

That's all I could remember for now but please reply with some tips & tricks or corrections of your own if you have any :D

You can use the sponge on the atv to clean the wheels and chassis, use wrench on wheels to take them off and use toolbox to repair em

Holy shit this is huge! I thought you just had to buy new wheels when they broke

how to save this comment?

You can collect some sugar cane from the lakeside. Buy a rake, faucet, hose, and sprinkler. Set these up in the grass by your base and you can make a bunch of sugar bags at the workbench to sell from the sugar cane you grow. The sprinkler covers a large area. I've been able to grow at least a 6x6 grid and each harvest gets you ~700 points. The squares of soil the rake makes don't have to be lined up perfectly to work.

a 10x10 area is about the maximum ive found that works consistantly, maybe 12x12 but then the dirt flickers from watered to not constantly

also technically making paper scrap instead of sugar bags is currently very slightly more profitable but more time consuming, and by slightly i mean only 30 points difference with a 10x10 grids worth so probably not worth the extra time

Some neat tricks I've discovered and seen while perusing reddit:

  • It's profitable to let concrete dry-out and destroy/sell the resulting slab rubble.
  • With the new UV light you can use the wall builder to create a floor of dirt inside base for farming. Everyone was doing crazy builds in the garage, but the janitor closet is great and out of the way if you don't mind hallway hose.
  • While scanning for signals, pressing the buttons to change coordinates will immediately stop and transfer velocity. No need to slow down for micro adjustments. During the final adjustments, press the yellow button on-screen to lock-in. It switches to the triangulated yellow-square, which is irrelevant for scanning AFAIK.

  • In the event that it doesn't get patched, nail the keyboard/mouse  into the desk. Physics-events can permanently wedge the keyboard (the noise... my save is ruined q.q) and the mouse is required to be up-right for use. Otherwise be mindful and use F6 to create multiple saves. Always good practice regardless.
  • ATV tips 1, you can do jumps without damaging tires but simply bumping a tiny rock will cause damage. Listen for the sfx that plays and be mindful to avoid it in the future.
  • ATV tips 2, solar panel currently regenerates batteries from nothing for infinite battery profit. Use this if you will, will likely be patched.
  • If you are spatially-challenged as I am, summon the drone before going out on adventures. You will always hear the sweet purring of home, making it harder to get lost. :')

That last one about the drone is a amazing tip! I too am directionally challenged lol

Huh? concrete? theres concrete in the game? i never seen it what does it do and how do you get it

(1 edit)

concrete is made by buying cement from the store on your computer, grab the bag and a bucket (if you've got room for it you can also just pick it up and bring it with you) fill the bucket with water from either the R I V E R or from the water in the main work room be sure not to spill any when setting it down cause if you don't spill when you use the cement on the bucket you get 20 units of concrete and its used to patch up the hideous cracks in the walls in base that you see everywhere :)
edit: you'll need the wall fixer item which is also from the store to apply it to the walls roof or floors
